Broker's Comments
Thirty plus years of building substantial, practical, and achingly beautiful small dayboats means that Character Boats of Lancashire have got something right at least.
With more than a nod to the historic working craft of the N West coast of England and Scotland, these 'plastic gaffers' are anything but 'naffer', and I say that as the grand nephew of a Morecambe bay fisherman. My earliest and best childhood holidays were spent in his piratical company, he even had a peg leg, and trips out in his wooden boat were the highlight of those yesteryear hols!
Our example here is in excellent order and is complete and ready to sail and with a road trailer, cockpit tent, boom up cover and all....... weekend camps are surely on the agenda?
