Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a Kent Motor Sailer. These are very sturdy motor sailers with good accommodation featuring a separate heads forward, good size galley and saloon and enough light and space to even be a live aboard. This example has been laid up ashore for a few years now but has been covered over with a full custom boat cover. Clearly much attention has been lavished on her and receipts are on file for standing rigging and an engine overhaul. A bit of tidying up and freshening up and she could be ready to go. Appointments to view can be booked in advance 6-days a week directly with Paul Singer your Boatshed Dartmouth broker.
and now for something other than boats, just for a change:)

The modern Fairline Phantom 48 long range cruiser really epitomises British Boat Building at it’s best. I am lucky enough to have been on board, photographed and had a lovely cruise on a couple of these magnificent long range motor cruisers. I also have a couple of these motor boats for sale, so I thought I have created a boat review for the Fairline Phantom 48 based on the boats for sale that I have on my yacht brokerage based in Kent. The Fairline Phantom 48’s that I went out on are the modern shaped design, 2008 models and both boats look as good as a new 2011 model.
The government is offering councils financial incentives to allow more moorings for houseboats on waterways.
The British Powerboat Festival arrives in Cowes this weekend. So we could not resist a visit to the pits before the races start to get a feel for the action to come and to promote Boatshed! If you happen to be on the Isle of Wight this August Bank Holiday weekend then this is a must stop on your visit, but beware it is also the annual scooter rally so make sure to look left and right even on the pedestrian precinct! see Cowes 2011 Link
It used to be said that the best time to buy a used boat was during autumn and winter, because boat owners once they decide to sell the expenses rack up for marina berths, yard fees and general maintenance. If you are looking to sell your boat, then try the team at ww.boatshedcroatia.com as they will give you and your boat the attention needed to sell it as swiftly as possible.

Round the world superboat takes shape
This fishing vessel has been tastefully converted into a superb home, where the current owner has lived for the past four years. The attention to detail is, as Wayne Rooney would say, “gobsmacking” and the boat has all the trappings of a contemporary home whilst retaining all the original features and character. The photos really don’t do her justice and this boat is a ‘must see’ for anyone looking for a Central London houseboat.
In the pub the other evening, someone was commenting on how much fun the Canal Festivals had been this year and lamenting that the season was nearly over. We have enjoyed Cavalcade, Crick and Rickmansworth - missed the IWA National because of my broken leg. However, I thought I would look up what was left. Quite a few as it happens - here they are courtesy of Narrowboats.org
