Departs from Itchenor. Enjoy time onboard the virtually silent Solar Heritage during the most peaceful time of the day. Bring your own picnic and wine if you wish or enjoy a meal at a local pub afterwards.

Sun 5 June Introduction to Fishing
11am / 3 hours
Find out what you need and what you do, and then do some fishing from the quay. Bring any fishing gear that you have but if not we will have some rods to share around. Refreshments will be available but you might like to bring a picnic. For all ages. With Allan Blamire and colleagues from the Apuldram Fishing and Boating Club. Thur 9 June Wild Flower Walk at Sandy Point
10am / 2 hours
A chance to stroll around Hampshire Council Council’s restricted access nature reserve at Sandy Point on Hayling Island looking for and identifying the distinctive plants of this coastal heath and sand dune area. Fri 10 June Walk and Boat Trip
6pm / 2.5 hours
Enjoy a 2½ mile (4km) non-stop walk led by our guide from Itchenor to Chichester Marina in Birdham and then take a trip on our solar-powered boat to have a rest and the chance to view the harbour from the water, finishing back at Itchenor. Bring footwear for muddy paths and a picnic and warm clothes for the boat.

Wed 22 June Moth Trapping on Sandy Point
8:30pm / 1.5 hours
A short stroll at dusk to view the restricted access nature reserve at Sandy Point followed by a stop to talk with moth enthusiasts who have kindly volunteered to set up a moth trap to show us how a moth survey is done and to talk about the moths they have identified here. With Andy Johnson local moth enthusiast and Pete Potts, Hampshire County Council Ranger. Dress warmly and for muddy conditions and also bring a torch. No dogs please. Safety briefing 8:30pm prompt.

Fri 24 June Top of the Harbour Walk
10am / 6 hours
A 10 mile (16km) walk from Emsworth to Chichester, passing through Prinsted, Nutbourne, Chidham, Bosham and Fishbourne along the way. Bring a packed lunch and snacks. The walk will finish in Chichester City centre where there are cafes, shops, bus stops and a train station close by.
