International Yacht Broker, Boatshed Newport presenting this 1976 C&C 38' Sloop full of character and history. She has been lovingly cared for by her current owner, only the second, for over 30 years.

He has within the last few years added many improvements to the sum of $40k. Some improvements include a new mast, rod rigging, headstay and Harkin roller furler, life lines, Edson pedestal with new quadrant chain and cable assembly, Raymarine ST60 Wind & Depth system, running rigging, rewired electric panel, new interior lights, new Thurston dodger, etc. She is a classic racer/cruiser with a fin keel, spade rudder and keel stepped mast with rod rigging and double spreaders. When you step below deck you are embraced in a feeling of warmth surrounded by beautiful natural grain teak. Her galley features a charming ice box, stainless steel 3 burner cooktop/oven and sink.

The cooktop/oven is fueled by CNG. The very spacious salon features double facing benches with the original cushions and a long salon table that easily accommodates eight for dinner. I'll tell you a secret. The salon table has two hidden compartments where the whiskey can be stashed!
SSSShhhh.

You will find both cabins very comfortable with newer upholstery. She comes equipped with both a 28 lb. Danforth anchor and a 40 lb. Viking aluminium anchor. Installed in 2003 is a 30 hp Yanmar diesel powered engine for those days absent a puff of wind. Sit comfortably in the cockpit with the captain on the custom cushions. There is so much to say about this classic, sleek C&C sloop but alas I guess I'll wrap it up. For more photos, a video and full specs on her please visit
